Designed from the investor's perspective

You'll notice most of our sites have a very similar navigational structure. This is because when viewers hit your site, they subconsciously want to know "who you are, what you do, how you do it, and why they should choose you" (all within about 30 seconds). So our objective is to layout this info (about your firm) in the same manner, to meet the needs of the viewer. Hopefully, keeping viewers on your site longer and encouraging more click throughs (to discover additional detail). Thus, having a better experience and feeling more comfortable with your firm.

  • Logo & Current Marketing Collateral - Marketing Collateral is something we like to consider during the website design process. Brochures, flyers, presentation folders, and letterhead used for marketing purposes might be incorporated to help achieve a consistent brand.

    Our Process

    Please contact us to get a quote on the services you have interest in. We are happy to answer all of your questions and concerns. We believe strongly in being upfront and honest with you right away, as it will strengthen our relationship down the road.

    Once you feel comfortable to move forward, simply fax back both pages of your quote/agreement. You will receive an invoice for the one-time development charges. Hosting fees will not begin until your website is 'live' at your domain.

  • Discovery Call

    Phone Support

    Once you're ready to roll, we need to schedule a discovery call. This call usually take about an hour. We will send you a 'Content Worksheet' prior to the call. If you are upgrading a website, the 'Content Worksheet' will contain your current content within a recommended navigational structure.

    • Your firm's objectives, investment philosophy, and target markets
    • Client Logins, BDs, Custodians, and strategic alliances
    • Navigational / Menu Structure
    • Logo, colors, design, and theme ideas

    You are welcome to give us 'creative control' and/or point out other websites you like.

  • Website Preview

    Our Process

    Usually within about 10 days, you'll receive a website preview.

    We'll send you the temporary development location (ie. http://yourcompany.advisorflex.com) with a username and password to log in.

  • Work Towards Approval

    Our Process

    Once you preview the website, you can send us a punch list of items you would like to see updated or we can schedule a call to review the site.

    After identifying and updating these tasks, we'll notify you to review the site again. We'll continue this process until you are pleased with the outcome.

  • Go 'Live' at Your Domain

    Our Process

    When you're ready we will make your new website 'live' at your domain. But that's not it.

    Our Process

    We'll spend the time we need to get you and your staff trained on our content management platform. Additional resources like PDF Guides and Videos are also available.

    Ongoing Support

    When you need help, just let us know. Free consulting and training is available as needed. Updates to your website are also available at the rate of $60/hr.

Layout/Design

During our discovery call we will discuss the design of your site. You can give us creative control, point out any websites you like, or both. Then, about 10 business days later, we will send you a website preview which contains a username and password to log in to review your new site design. The site will also contain the initial menu structure we discussed and any copy you wish to keep. We then modify the design based on any feedback (usually a punch list of items) you provide. Once the site is approved, we will make it live at your domain, setup stats, promote it, and train you on managing the content.

Website Content

You might have a lot of very good content on your current site. Prior to our discovery call, we will grab the copy from your current website and paste it in a ContentWorksheet.doc (where we feel it should go within our recommended navigational structure). Then, during our discovery call, we review the document and help you identify your navigational structure. We encourage you to use the same ContentWorksheet.doc to edit or add content, while we are creating your website. This helps save time.  We can also provide custom written copy for your website via our AdvisorCopy Service. We have worked with quite a few independent RIAs, we can also give you some direction on content ideas.
